We got there at 6:30, hours of operation are until 7pm. So, instead of a sit down meal, we had to eat in our car. AFTER we o rdered and sat down, the staff came over to tell us we couldn’t NOT dine at the establishment and would have to take our food to go, because they were closing. That’s fine, ordered our food to dine in. (We have a 4 year old, I asked if they could just throw some turkey on two slices of bread) nope! Can’t do that, we were told everything is pre portioned (is this subway?). Our first encounter was ordering when we were told (at a sandwich place) that they were unable to make anything other than what was on the menu. If you haven't tried it, you really are missing out on something special.I have NEVER left a negative review, and I am certainly someone who has frequented many establishments. I've also been blamed for creating addicts. I've recommended Undercover Eggplant to many people, most of whom make it a point to let me know how much they loved their meals. There's no substitute for passion when it comes to great food, whether it's a four star feast, or a humble sandwich.
